Take as long as you need Annelligram, I have had the meniscus surgery when I was a whole lot younger, I am sorry you have to deal with this as it is most unpleasant....With that thought and prayers headed your way...I wish you quick healing, and a speedy recovery.
Thank you for all that you do

Maggie

Good wishes and positive vibes for a complete and speedy recovery. The forum is not the same without you. Do take care but don't forget to come back.

Just a quick in and out ----- First, and foremost.....I want to thank all for the well-wishes.....

My surgery was just to trim a piece from the meniscus.... for a younger person, doctor said he would have sewn back together....he just trimmed mine off (like a hang nail)......(Randy's surgery was full knee replacement, so I don't qualify for his league.... )

Surgery was 1 week ago.....so far, I still have swelling (which can last for 2 to 3 weeks after surgery)....but I can fully straighten the leg and can bend it nearly 90 degrees (can't quite sit with it fully bent)......

Still enjoying my recliner most of the day with the leg up and putting ice packs on periodically. Hopefully I can sign into PC game to get the icon to turn from red to green.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to pop in here and let Annelliegram know that the Moderation Team also sends their wishes for a speedy recovery. It is fantastic seeing this community support one another during certain personal events. We wish you well Annelliegram!

Wishing you well in your recovery AEGram! I know you can't run a relay yet, but what do you think about you and Randy in a three-legged race in the near future?

Hmmmmm.....since your knee is/was a full reconstruction......I would imagine it is in much better condition than my repaired one......

At this point, I'm still doing a lot of sitting....still have a week until my post-op follow-up...at that time, I will find out more.

(I never was much good at races anyway .... other than a bystander cheering from the stands)..

And......soooooooo glad to see your computer issues have been resolved so you can now access the forum again.......fantastic news!!!!

Hope you're up and about in record time. I broke my leg in October, all healed nicely and it gave me a lot of time to build up coins and inventory! Look for the silver lining!
