Oh, Betslou--I'm so, so sorry for the loss of your beloved Rusty! Like you, it was just me and my cat Baby for 16 1/2 years when she had to go to the Rainbow Bridge. So, I know how hard it is when they leave us. I'm sending prayers and gentle hugs your way during this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. Sounds like Rusty wasn't just a pet but a very loyal friend and a big part of your life. Losing a pet leaves a big gap. I had to take time out when Noodles died and she was my son's dog. She used to stay with me when they were away and this was her 2nd home. I still miss her.
Take your time and come back when you are ready, Savour the good memories while surrounded by hugs from all your friends on the Forum.
