The "L" is in the top part of the leftmost drapes. Took me forever to find it!

I agree that some of the items are miniscule, but the game play was enjoyable.

The game concept is great - I enjoyed playing the game - others than items were a little too small - and I liked the story line, but there were just too many little problems that took some of the joy out of playing the game. I'll wait until another HO comes out.

I'm not having any problems with the game, either - I realy enjoy it. It's a little hard for me at times and I had to do one level over again, but that doesn't bother me - more time to play.
I think it's a good game.

Rentonwa, same here. Got right down to the wire and thought I'd make it ...but ran out of time looking for one thing. But that was ok ... it's a fun game so didn't mind playing the section over.

I agree not for my money.

I agree. I was very disappointed to see that there was no 'relaxed' mode, and even though I can play each part within the 25-minute time frame, I don't want to have to check the clock all the time - it makes me nervous and I lose concentration.

Why can't the game developers just add the 'relaxed' mode to those games? After all, we buy the games, and should be able to choose whether we want to rush around in a panic or not - I prefer the latter.

And I also think that the objects are far too small, and to be honest, I have already quite a few HO games, which are very similar. So I won't be buying this game. *sigh*

Ok, I'll keep my mind opened and think about it some more. I did enjoy playing the game - we'll see.

Close the lid, then insert the part with the coffee, then the pot. Don't forget to turn it on.

I hope this helps

Hello everyone! I just thought I’d pop in and let you know that I’ve gone ahead and moved this discussion to the forum that we have set up for Dr. Lynch: Grave Secrets.

Happy gaming!

My first post!

Ok, having played trials of Dr Lynch, I have to say that I won't be buying it. I'm afraid that some of the objects are just ridiculously small or impossible to find. The white pebbles being a prime example. Someone mentioned trying to complete the menu board too, by finding missing letters in the tearoom - I found a few, but again, some of them appear to be miniscule and I couldn't find them all. Now as a hidden object game expert I like a challenge, but the 25 minutes makes it impossible to really focus, especially when you're desperately trying to complete the little challenges to get extra hints which are sorely needed! Anyone have a clue how to get the hummingbirds? no? me neither

Fiobo you need to get the bird seed which is on the right side ( a large bag) and fill the three feeders. The hummingbirds will fly to the feeders the, Hope that helps. I am playing the game for a second time and love it. I admit that some of the items are small so that just means that I have to take a " eye break". LOL

I think having the feature that's in samantha swift of seeing an outline of object helps me bunches!!! Especially as some of these HO games aren't developed by americans and a bit of the terminology is different. That said, I also would rather have unlimited hints that take a little time to charge up than to run out completely. I would also love a relaxed mode version. They should all come with that.

All this said, it's a good game for me besides small objects. The graphics are better than many I"ve seen here and elsewhere. I like the mysterville games, but the graphics are horrible. Nostradamus was the same, terrible graphics. Btw, I love this forum, great idea bf. Been a lurker for quite some time.

I completely love this game! It is just my speed and wicked tough, though not impossible. The clarity of the scenes, even though some of the items are miniscule, make it a good challenge to come in under the alloted time. The added bonus actions such as catching the fireflies, hummingbirds and rose beetles are ingeneous. If you love a good thinking hidden object challenge, then this is for you.

p.s. I bought this in a heartbeat when I saw the Jane Jensen endorsement. Any Gabriel Knight fans out there? Those would be a great addition to BF for nostalgia of game play if nothing else!!!

I am not sure why I really don't like the game. I don't recommend the buy, but we non-buyers are in the minority. I had to use up too many hints; items too small. I still don't understand why when we click on certain birds -- the feathers fly away. Do we get points?? I had to change my profile 3 times before I could get out of the FIRST level. Too much frustration for me. Also, I wish there was a more clear explanation..at least for me .. as to the rules of the game. I was really excited when I saw the game, but now..not sure at all. But that is what is great about BF. More games will come around. Can't recommend!!!

I totally agree with all your points about the game, I love it! Most of the items to find are not the 'same old, same old' stuff and I like the graphics very much, also set in England yayyyyy! ( although I have never actually seen a bear in the wild here lol)

I don't mind the fact that it is timed, more of a challenge, and I don't really like HO games that are too easy so you just whip through em in no time.

Bought it immediately.
