Wow, this game just has everything!! This is one of the best games I ever bought from BFG. First, a big thanks to BFG for fixing the game so quickly. I couldn't quite see why so many people got so angry about it not working immediately, I think it was fixed quickly and appreciate it.

Farm Craft was good, but when I downloaded the demo for Farm Craft 2, I didn't intend to buy the game as I didn't expect it to offer many new things. The graphics are more polished than in the first version but still similar enough to remind one of the first game.

I got a bit frustrated with level 3 (?) where those items need to be stolen. But then I figured out that the trick is simply not to get too close to the guards. When they come closer, just quickly move on and then it's a piece of cake (and I'm usually NOT good with those things).

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the game offered so many new features. First, there is quite an engaging background story. Often, I don't care much for the stories around TM games, as the story doesn't affect game play. Here, the story serves as the background for different scenarios. Unlike in the first game, one has to work a different farm on each level, with different tasks. Production has been upgraded as there are factories in some levels.

Workers can be hired, just like in the first game, but there is also a livestock raiser available now and I think that's fabulous addition. I found caring for the animals a bit time-consuming and annoying in the first game and so was glad to be able to source this out.

It would be nice if one could skip the tutorial, but it was no major issue. Also, when too many workers have to be hired (sometimes hiring a certain amount of workers is a requirement), the crop pickers pick everything so quickly that it is difficult to pick food for the animals.

The game seems to be very long. So far I played for about 4.5 - 5 hours and am through 15 levels.

So, long game, user-friendly gameplay, nicely worked-out background story, different interesting missions - perfect. Thanks for this lovely game.

I am still playing the 60 mins trial, but I too am stuck on the level where I have to steal things from the bad guys. I thought I could save after stealing a couple of things so I don't have to go right back to the beginning each time, and it does seem to let me, but when I try to load the saved game I get an access violation or the game freezes completely so end up having to bypass it and start from the beginning of the level again...and again....

I love this game, and would buy it, but it is way too annoying not being able to save progress.

A good game ruined by the pointless 'hidden objects in the dark' screens. Bored and frustrated. Given that about 9 out of 10 games are already hidden objects they could surely have left Farm Craft as a straight time management game or at least have provided a skip button. Loved Farm Craft 1 - wish I hadn't bought FC2.

I also encountered the bug and I was apprehensive about purchasing the game at first. But the game update fixed my issues and I enjoyed a full hour of farmtastic fun.

Farm Craft 2 enjoys the same bright and cheerful graphics as the first game. As before, there's a little comic at the beginning of each level where the personalities shine.

Not much changed for the music either. It's still cheerful and something I'd whistle along as I'm working. The voice acting was nice, though I wish they didn't have all the cutscenes voiced. It was kind of nice to read through the instructions and such without hearing about it too. I'm afraid I've cut them off a lot because I read faster than they talk.

Gameplay is still addictive. You tackle various missions in different locations. You can hire workers to help you with the various tasks (yay for waterer and the livestock specialist) and renovate buildings rather than just building them outright (yes, the thrifty spender in me loves this!). The nightly excursion was an interesting break from the main game. The idea of sneaking around to steal giant fruit gave me a chuckle and that little bit of adrenaline rush. But at the core, it was still Farm Craft. I loved that Farm Craft 2 stayed true to the first one, but also brought us enough innovation to stand on its own.

A definite buy for me!

the trick in level 3 - nick stuff from the bad guys to find out what they're doing - is to move little bits... don't click on the pineapple when you're standing near the truck... stay in the dark and watch for the guards' positions to decide how to move forward... it's simply strategy versus how fast can i get all this cr@p done.... and you have plenty of time for the level, so there's really no need to rush or get flustered...

personally, i really liked the game... there were some things i found in common with the ranch rush games, but tweaked so that i think i might actually like this one more... i love getting a trophy every level - makes me feel oh, so special and i like that you can plant and plant and plant without having to go get the seed bag every time! having the scene change so frequently reminded me of the farm frenzy games, but instead of having to play one farm forever til you changed, this game has you taking a level in getting a new farm up and running and then on to a new one >SNAP< like that... very cool... get it started and then let the locals handle it...

i didn't feel like this was a "click, click, click" game, but more of a "think and click" time management game with different challenges presented at every turn... the music was good, not the least bit annoying like some of the "OMG somebody turn that off" stuff that we get in games sometimes... the directions were easy to follow, the goal easy to understand, the dialogue and storyline actually added to the game instead of simply providing distraction points or breaks in the action... for those unfamiliar with the game, the tutorial level was straightforward and easy to follow - provided everything you needed for gameplay without making you feel like a complete idiot... the graphics were bright and cute and well rendered for a fun game like this one... and that's my bottom line, i think: fun

i thought this was a very fun game and should be given a spin for those looking for something different than your typical everyday TM game...

happy farming!

I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this game so much. I decided to purchase after the demo ended. I enjoyed the graphics and had no technical issues. I hadn't played Farm Craft 1, but didn't know what to expect. I actually enjoy it more than the last Farm game that I played (Farm Frenzy 3). It appealed to me because it was so varied. I also enjoyed managing all the different workers. Maybe I will try Farm Craft 1 after I finish this one.

Love the game as much as the first one. I only have 1 problem, level 22 I can not figure out how to finish it. It is completely dark and I can not see to do anything. You have to plant 12 tomato beds in the dark I quess. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciatted.

I am happy I didn't purchase this game before playing it. Loved the first one so almost bought it. It locks up, and generally has too many problems. Sure hope they fix it.

So far I really like the game, and didn't have trouble on level 3. But I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong on level 7. Are the water sprinklers just for show, or are they supposed to work? Because mine don't actually water and it would be nice if they did!

I couldn't stop playing this game yesterday it was so much fun. I ended up finally taking a break and catching some zzz's at around 3 a.m. this morning when I was on level 20. There are 24 levels to this game and I finished the last 4 today.

Some of the levels take at least an hour or more to do. A few levels are really short and easy, with most of them taking an average of around a half hour to 45 minutes. I played all day long yesterday and had a blast with this.

The graphics are cute, the story line is pretty in-depth, and it's not as repetitive as most time-management games because this one changes things up a bit from level to level. What's nice about this too is that you can hire workers and managers to pay your workers at certain points in the game, which gives you a breather from all of the clicking.

Some levels have you in the dark searching for objects or doing things like trying to get a generator to work in order to get the lights back on so your farm workers will work. The generator one is easier than it seems as long as you don't over-think the possible solution to the puzzle.

I did the 'free play' mode this afternoon for the grand finale. Built a HUGE multi-million coin producing farm with lots and lots of workers and managers.

This isn't your average time-management game, it's better and I highly recommend

Wow, I am definitely in the minority here so maybe I will try again later. Played about 10-15 minutes & was bored to tears. Wish there was a way to skip Level 1 which is basically a tutorial. If you've played FC1 you know how to play. Also really wanted to shut the lady, (teacher or whatever ) up. Her voice is SO annoying.

IMO Ranch Rush is a much better game. Unfortunately, doesn't work on my computer

Game started out slow, story line so far is just cheesy. Only got to like lvl 5 before the demo stopped. Otherwise, was starting to get fun. Don't know if I want to buy this is not, really an hour play is not enough for me to decide if I like a game or not. And if a game can be completed in less then two, then I so don't want it.

I really liked most of this game. All except the Hidden Object stuff. HOGs just burn my eyes out so those parts were annoying. The rest of it was really fun & it took me an entire day to finish, unlike Ranch Rush which was done so fast I was shocked it was so short (though still fun).

Even though many levels are 20, 30 45 minutes, an hour long, it goes by very quickly & was really addictive. Lots of game play for your money.

In short, I wish there had been more straight up farming levels & less "search in the dark" stuff but even shuffling through those is bearable & worth it. But now I'm done, again, & need a new TM game, dagnabbit.

I LOVED the origial "Farm Craft" played it over and over, trying to best my time on all levels. I've waited over a year for this to come out. I was excited that there would be farm help. I've gotten to level 7 and can't beleive THIS is what I waited for. The hired help for the animals is useless!!! If you don't have food picked ahad for your animals, they'll never get fed! There are TOO MANY workers for the level. you only need half of what they required and you can't turn them off!!! once you have the "Manager" (I say this in title, because he does NOTHING except he keeps all the workers going whether you want them or not. You'll never reach the 3,500 like that.

This game is soooooo dissapointing. I miss the old one. Are they giving rebates on this one? I want my money back.

I was interested to see this, thinking I'd try it and maybe buy it. But of course I check the Reviews first.

I wonder if my concerns about FC1 were dealt with.

1) The helpers weren't worth hiring.
2) We should be able to assign tasks to the helpers.
3) The helpers cost too much and come back for their pay too often.
4) The helpers should complete the task at hand before asking for more pay.
5) The helpers should go to a pay station instead of going to where Ginger was when their timer ran out.
6) The voice acting was extremely poor.
7) It should be possible to let us move plots around (like with Ranch Rush), instead of forcing us to remove them by digging them up and planting grass there.

Since I don't see anyone talking about these, I guess I'll have to try the game to find out if it's been improved. But the fact that I'll have to steal worries me. That should not be part of any game, and I frown on BFG for adding it to Farm Craft.

Ok, I've tried the game. I can't get past the Tutorial (which should have a "Skip" option) without having to steal.

So I won't buy this game. Please don't ruin your reputation by releasing games where breaking the law part of the game.
