If you are having problems getting the game to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. Here are a few suggested articles that have helped many people correct these types of problems in the past:

While we can offer a known solution for technical issues in the forums, or other tech savvy pond residents can swim by with good tips and suggestions, we cannot provide the same excellent level of support provided by our Customer Support team. The forums are not very well suited for the kinds of information gathering and troubleshooting that get these types of issues corrected quickly. If there is a problem with the game, our Support Team can also gather necessary information on what types of computers are being affected by the problem and deliver this information to the developer for a fix.

I was beginning to play my trial and after finishing the first mini game with the light it jumped back to the start of the same game and froze my computer. I was unable to bring up the Task Manager for only a second or two, not long enough to click on or look at anything.
Just played it again and same thing. Had to log off to get out. Will try reinstalling. Just rebooted before starting all of this.

angrycustomer - if your HOS scene has disappeared I would try uninstalling and reinstalling - this won't loose your place in the game, but can help if something went missing.

I was able to enter my name during the demo, but the mouse cursor cannot be seen. I was able to find my cursor position by going back to the desktop (using the Windows key) and then getting back to the game ( using ALT-TAB ). I got to the Options screen and unchecked the Custom Cursors. Unfortunately the problem persisted.
After reinstalling the game and even trying a different mouse, did not solve this problem.

FYI - You should check the thread "tally", there are many folks who DO NOT have this item in the HOG in which it supposed to be found.

Had same problem as PurrThang. Wouldn't allow me to escape or ctrlaltdel. Had to shut down.

Hi Fishies,
If you're experiencing problems with the tally not showing up at all, you might first try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. More information on doing that can be found here on our help article:

You might also find some tips for that scene in the thread that has been mentioned previously here.
If you continue to run into problems with that part in the game, please let our Tech Support Team know and they'll be happy to assist you further.
