Hi fishies,

Just to add to the OP: This thread has been reserved for reviews only. If you have any comments or questions about someone else’s review (even if you feel that their review contains incorrect details about this game) please contact that user directly via PM instead of replying to or quoting their post.

While the reviews in this thread are first and foremost helpful to other players, they also tell us and all who were involved in making this game what you liked/disliked most, what you’d like to see more/less of in future games, etc. (As you could imagine, this feedback is very helpful! )

So to make sure that everyone who visits this thread can easily find the reviews that they’re looking for, the Moderation Team will be proactively removing any off-topic posts (i.e. non-reviews) that pop up in this thread.

For any comments and non-review posts, please feel free to create a "Comments" thread in this Game Forum if there isn't one already. You can always create a new thread for any game questions or tips.

Thank you!

Here's a big one - don't break up games anymore. It is a MAJOR turn off. I have been shopping at other sites because of it. Amerzone should have been sold as-is, not in pieces.

It's a nice game, but not worth the money in pieces.

I have to admit, and as my other reviews on part one and two of this game express my liking for this game, I have to agree with others, that this paying for part 1, 2 & 3 is not favorable for me. In total, $20.97 for all three parts is ridiculous to say the least.

With that said, yes, I purchased part 3 here, because I am interested in finding out how the story ends. I hate to be left hanging and wondering. The graphics are beautiful, and the story interesting. The game also plays smoothly on my PC, and I love the 360 degree mouse viewing capability.

However, never again will I pay for a game in 'parts'. What really is bad, is that each part is so short in length, and therefore, all parts could have been put into one game for $6.99, or even $13.99, not $20.97 bucks for all 3!!! I've played Collector games much longer than this game, including all of its parts! Plus, most such as I, will only play the entire game once! That is a steep price for playing a game just one time.

I don't like being sucker punched, and I feel like a sucker for playing this game at all, despite how much I liked it. Sorry, NEVER again!!!! Once burned... well, you know the rest.

With that said, I guess I will now finish part 3, but not in a great mood about it. What a shame.

Can you play part 3 without having played parts 1 and 2 or do you need to know what happened in the first two parts? Thanks.

No, you do not have to play the first 2 parts to play part 3.

However, I would not bother to play parts 1 & 2, just to be ripped off by Microid for part 3. It's ridiculous that this game is an old game chopped up into 3 pieces for the bottom line, instead of for player enjoyment. Paying over $20 for a game that originally would cost less than $7 for the whole version is a rip-off. 'nuff said.

Did anyone actually review this game? The game itself, not the price?

Okay, I'll try. The movement of the crocodiles in the water when arriving at Amerzone was amazing. I've been wanting to play this game ever since I played Siberia and read a review. So I'm excited for the opportunity. It is old school adventure and I mean that in the best way because that is my first love. I played the trial on part 1, moved on to part 2 and bought 2&3 at yesterday's sale price two for one. So I bargained the experience down to $7. Thank you, Big Fish.

I have played all other games by Benoit Sokal on PC in the past years. I think that Amerzone adaptation is great when you play on IPad: nice graphics that are not up to date, but are better than the original version. And the gameplay adapts nicely to a tactile tablet. Other than that, the game is short and should have been sold in a single piece instead of three. Also the size of every downloadable file is big (more than 3go for the total of the three parts...).
Will Syberia be available on iOS in the future (iPhone, iPad)? No doubt I would buy it when available
