Stuck at gates

Playing royal house of stone on iPhone. Went to cemetery gate before I got the oil can, and now can't back away from the gates. Do I need to start over, or am I missing an obvious spot? I only see the one arrow below the gates window, but clicking on it only rattles the gates.

Help!

tallrice, that's certainly very odd. Have you tried going over each of the corners of your screen? Perhaps an arrow to back out from the scene will pop up.

It may also help to close down the game and reset your device, if you feel this might be a technical issue. Steps on how to do this, can be found below:
