In Spandex Force you can create your own hero and clean up the crime-infested town of Vigilance Valley by matching tiles. Anyone else having problems with this game

So the game is hilarious but playing it is very frustrating. The longer you play the worse the problem seems to get... not recognizing the mouse clicks... I have to GUESS where to click. Above? a 1/4 inch to the right of where the graphic suggests? even the mini game... nonresponsive/sluggish mouse. The exit menu is perfect --very fast as if the game itself agrees with my decision to give up playing.
