abrupt ending

This was a very good game-- until you get to the end. The ending comes all of a sudden and leaves many things unanswered. Presumably that is for the sequel.

I think I have seen a few comments around about this agreeing with you.

You may have missed Mr Russ as his review is short and sweet and may have missed mine as it was in my snorefest of a review.

I totally agree about the ending. I don't have the luxury of playing the entire game in one setting, especially during the week. I went to play tonight and thought that I had at least 30 minutes left to play. However, I found that I had much less to do. Once I put the pendant parts where they belonged, it suddenly was over. Not even a cool ending cut scene. I feel very let down, especially since this was a pretty cool game.

I was really quite surprised at the abrupt ending. It really kind of ruined the game for me. A nice cut scene with a hint of a sequel would have been nice. It seems to me that a lot of games are ending rather abruptly lately.

I also disliked the abrupt ending. Was this ever a CE game? I find some of the SE games end in a similar manner because the "real" ending is the bonus game you get with the CE edition.

Really feel cheated, NOT because some issues were left unresolved;
but the sheer abruptness of it that had me thinking I had missed doing
something. Been led to believe all along that I had to "reverse" the
experiment, so thought I had put the pieces in wrong. Tried to go
back and do over in correct order.

Shame the developers didn't make the effort to do the small amount
of programming that would have made this a much better game.

With so many experienced players thinking they had done something
wrong, the fault definitely lies with the developers.

Will be very cautious before buying the sequel.
