Post any Clockwork Crokinole technical issues here only

If you are having problems getting the game to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. Here are a few suggested articles that have helped many people correct these types of problems in the past:

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen

Game Compatibility

While we can offer a known solution for technical issues in the forums, or other tech savvy pond residents can swim by with good tips and suggestions, we cannot provide the same excellent level of support provided by our Customer Support team.

The forums are not very well suited for the kinds of information gathering and troubleshooting that get these types of issues corrected quickly.

If there is a problem with the game, our Support Team can also gather necessary information on what types of computers are being affected by the problem and deliver this information to the developer for a fix.

If you are not able to get a game working properly using our Help pages, please get in touch with our Customer Support team, you can find a link to contact our Support team on the front page of our Help pages.

*Please reserve this thread for tech issues only. If you are seeking game play assistance (i.e. hints and tips), the best thing to do is to start a new thread in the game's Forum by clicking on 'Create New Discussion.'

Can not play the tutorial since the text overlaps and can not be read.

Ditto !! Same thing for me; the text overlaps. I must be a little on the dense side because i cannot figure out on my own what I am supposed to do here.

Hi everyone,

If this game is giving you trouble with the text overlapping, I would see if Uninstalling and Reinstalling the game will help reset things:

uninstalling and reinstalling a game

seaseaone, if the game is hanging I've found sometimes the steps at this article can help:

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen

And if the game is still giving anyone trouble after giving these steps a try, I would get in touch with our Customer Support team and one of our reps can certainly provide more personalized help.

I hope that helps!

Was really enjoying this game but the second time I booted it up the gear pointer you use in the initiation and set up remained on the screen when I went to the playing field. It is very distracting when you tried to aim. Also with every shot the cursor pops back to center right where all the action is! It wasn't there before. I've had it disappear on its own but then it comes back the next time I boot it up. How can I get rid of it? I've reinstalled the game to no avail. Am I alone on this? Could it be my remote mouse?

Was enjoying the game when the computer player Adrian just started spinning his aimer around and wouldn't stop. No amount of clicking helped had to end game and lost all scores.

For me twice now I've been playing for at least 45 mim. to an hour and suddenly I get an error message that says, " TorqueGameBuilder has stopped working"Why does it do that. How can I play that long and then BAM error message comes up and it's usually when I'm in the lead as well. I also have the issue with the cursor being right there every where very annoying. It's too bad too cuz I bought the game and really enjoy it hope they have an answer for me so it can be fixed.

I am with you on the aimer going wild this happeened 3 times for me.
I really enjoy the game but just when you are really ahead..bingo the arm swings
your disc in circles and wont stop.
Sigh...
Some asked about the pointer
You can get rid of the pointer after you hit 100 points...it disappears

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to swim in with some extra help.

If you would like to get rid of the cursor during gameplay, one way to do that is to follow these steps:

Start the game and go to your game board
Press the "ESC" key on your keyboard
Choose the "Resume" button at the top of the list

This will close the menu, but the mouse should also be invisible once this is done.

luckylady53050 and Runrama2 - in that case I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the game - if you click the blue text it will take you right there.

If anyone is still running into trouble after this I would get in touch with our Customer Support team and one of our reps would be happy to help out.

I hope that helps!

My son gifted me this game for Father's Day. I'm enjoying it since I can remember playing the table version when I was a child.
Is there any way to save an incomplete game and come back to it later? I've read the manual and checked the options, but can't find anything about saving a game.

In the Reference Manual on pages 15 & 16 there are statements about saving and exiting the game. It says that you can only Save your settings on page 15. On page 16 it says that when you exit any game in progress will be lost. Too bad there isn't a save option but it's a fun game anyway.

I had this problem too but it corrected when I exited and then came back. Maybe that would work for you.

I also had a problem in the classic mode, I put in 2 names but when the game started 2 other players were "playing" and I couldn't play at all. Whats up with that?

I really didn't want to spend the whole time reading the manual!
