




I figured it would be easier for those who are stuck to find it if it were a separate thread. here's one way to solve the minigame where you have the 4 jugs, and need to have exactly 4 units of water in the rightmost one.
1. Fill the small jug: 3, 0, 0.
2. Pour the small jug into the large one: 0, 3, 0.
3. Fill the small jug: 3, 3, 0.
4. Pour from the small jug into the large one: 1, 5, 0.
5. Empty the large jug: 1, 0, 0.
6. Pour from the small jug into the large one: 0, 1, 0.
7. Fill the small jug: 3, 1, 0.
8. Pour from the small jug into the large one: 0, 4, 0.
9. Pour from the large jug into the leftmost jug: 0, 0, 4.







Can I get some credit for writing it before you?
This time I beat you...

1) Fill jug no. 2 with 3 liters.
2) pass the 3 liters to jug 3.
3) fill again jug 2 (3 liters.
4) pass it to jug 2. As jug 2 can hold only 5 liters  in jug 3 will remain 1 liter.
5) spill the water of jug 3.
6) pass jug 2 (1 liter) to jug 2.
7) fill again jug 2 (3 liters).
8) pass it to jug 3, which will have now 4 liters.
9) pass the 4 liters to jug 4.

If you look at the timestamp at the top of this thread it says "Jan 30, 09 1:18 PM". That's more than a full day before yours.







There is a simpler solution to this, using fewer moves. It's a puzzle regular.
Fill the 5.
Pour 3 into the 3, leaving 2 in the 5.
Empty the 3.
Pour the 2 from the 5 into the 3.
Fill the 5.
Pour 1 from the 5 into the 3, leaving 4 in the 5.
