Hi fishies,

Just to add to the OP: This thread has been reserved for reviews only. If you have any comments or questions about someone else’s review (even if you feel that their review contains incorrect details about this game) please contact that user directly via PM instead of replying to or quoting their post.

While the reviews in this thread are first and foremost helpful to other players, they also tell us and all who were involved in making this game what you liked/disliked most, what you’d like to see more/less of in future games, etc. (As you could imagine, this feedback is very helpful! )

So to make sure that everyone who visits this thread can easily find the reviews that they’re looking for, the Moderation Team will be proactively removing any off-topic posts (i.e. non-reviews) that pop up in this thread.

For any comments and non-review posts, please feel free to create a "Comments" thread in this Game Forum if there isn't one already. You can always create a new thread for any game questions or tips.

Thank you!

Dull, dull, dull, dull, dull .................. oh, did I mention that this was dull?? What is the point? A few bubbles burst and a few power ups do something but I lost all sense of being and stopped taking notice of what was happening. I uninstalled after 30 minutes of mindless bubble popping and went off to watch paint dry!!

I thought it was restful and fun. Nice sense of accomplishment when you can figure out how to get a tricky one popped. I really liked the calypso music. Also driving the boat!

The only problem for me was that (on my computer) the cursor was super sluggish, so I had to switch to system cursor and also play in window-mode. That stops me from paying full price for it. I might get it as a future Daily Deal (if that ever happens).

From the developer:

We want to thank everyone who downloaded the game, and would like to apologize to the fishies who found it slow and were disappointed.

Bubblenauts is not a marble shooter. It is a puzzle game, and is meant to be played slowly. Its emotional reward is meant to be in unraveling the puzzles and in discovering the right strategies.

Even if making games is hard work, we take your criticisms graciously. Once again, we give our apology to those who were disappointed, and our thanks to all who tried it.
