blow dart and blue crystal ball

Can't open door in mansion or the other last door. No wooden sun. I am stuck. What do I do with the blow gun and the blue cyrstral ball.

Return to where the hole in the street is and use the Ravenlore Whistle. Zoom into the lamp and use the blowdart to get the crystal.

You will not find the sun until after you open the vault door with the 4 crystals...and behind the door with the sun is where you use the glowing orb.
