SPOILER Cannot Cut Charles's Hair-No Scissors In Inventory

Hi, I am loving this game even though I'm using the guide a lot. It's a wonderful, Lovecraftian adventure.

However, I have gotten what I need to try and "resurrect" him but apparently according to the guide I'm supposed to cut a snippet of his hair with the scissors in the inventory. I have no scissors, don't remember ever picking them up and now it seems I'm stuck and cannot proceed.

Did I miss something or perhaps a scene I inadvertently skipped? Please help! Many thanks....

Hi NellGwyn, the scissors are in the underground laboratory. In the room where you took the Coffin top and aroma lamp. They are on the table near the body.
