I was SO wishing for another game like Caribbean Hideaway that I finally broke down tonight and bought the first, earlier game---this one, The Pirate Tales.
The music and the sound effects are exactly the same as the first one, so good stuff there. The biggest adjustment is getting used to the screens---they are still very nice, but not as good as Caribbean Hideaway. Instead of icons for sharks, cannonballs, etc., we have different colored globes with a small representation of what you are matching inside each globe. So, that part is a little disappointing---but all in all, if you just couldn't get enough of Caribbean Hideaway, this is almost as good. It is also lacking the building element, but although I enjoyed that part of Caribbean Hideaway, I don't really miss it all that much.
I feel quite sure that this will hold my interest through all 100 levels, the same way that Caribbean Hideaway did.
