Atlantis - Power Ball

What does the power ball do and what is the best way to use it? Thanks

What it does is drive you crazy! I must have tried over 100 times to complete and usually get stuck on Peak of Atlas! On the odd time I have got passed this stage I have no idea what I really did to acheive it. Quite often too the game goes slow down when you are at a crucial moment and there is a serious time delay from you pressing the mouse to zap it and the time time it takes to reach the balls and you hit the wrong ball! It drives me mad and I would love to know how to get more than 3/4 way round the "clock" and actually complete the game - any help would be appreciated. I think this game came as a freebie but I would not advise buying uless you want to go mad!
