Headless Horseman

No matter what I do my poor peeps get turned into zombies lol either that or they are starving . Can anyone help me with a few tips on how to complete this darn town? Thanks in advance..

I'm sure there is more than one way to win this level... but I'll tell you what I did to beat it. I immediately put what workers I did have into the lumber camp. Then I built a cabin and put a panning mine on the river and employed the two new workers there. I didn't worry too much about the farm because it just never seemed to help enough to keep them from starving anyway.

I gathered as much wood and gold as I could with my hero and in between the gathering I kept building cabins and fishing to try and keep most of my people from starving enough to leave town.

I think I ended up with something like 7 or 8 cabins in all. Then I went to the 3 bandit camps and killed the bandits and made sure I had a church built somewhere in the town. After you kill each bandit camp... make sure you build a cemetary over the run down one at each bandit camp. It will release the souls when you do that. Once you have built 3 cemetaries you are done... that is, as long as you were able to get enough people in the town to keep some of them from becoming zombies.

you still have to go to mcallister's bank and steal the documents and go to the election. But that's not hard at all.

Do you have a systematic and less complicated strategy on how to solve this problem with the headless horseman?

My strategy was pretty simple. Ignore the farming and fishing entirely. People come and go on a regular basis, but I never had anyone get possessed after the initial visit.

Your mileage may vary, maybe I just got lucky.

I continuously get visited by the horseman. I don't know what to do.

How do you get points to buy the church? I have 18 and 2 short, do I have to buy it back in my own town or is there a way of getting more points in order to buy the churh on this level?

The easiest way to get more points is going through the sherriff and trading post challenges. Good luck, I'm trying to go through the headless horsemen quest right now myself.

the easiest way i have found is to put the ppl to work as soon as i get in there, farm-1,lumber-1 and mining-1..then i build 8 tents and put those to work mining and chopping wood..and one i put fishing.. i go to the nearest pile of gold and chip on it. as soon as i can i get the saloon and two gunslingers. I go the the first bandits and kill them off. if you do it fast enough and get the first cemetary built the punkin head doesnt bother you..much..I always have 8 ppl left when i finish. good luck..and hope this helps.
