Can You See What I See Dream Machine

Can someone please help me with the dominos i have tried and failed

I just figured the game place your dominos along the outer edge and not in the center

i'm unable to get past the dominoes. i have moved them around for two hours now, but nothing happens. this is very frustrating. btw: i'm on a mac.
