Help! Can't return to map!

Hi I am struggling- I used the map to get to the barn, and while there I accessed the map and returned back to the house before I completed everything at the barn. Now I can't find/use the map at all, and when I hit the hint button it tells me I need to look at the loose floorboard- but I'm not in the barn! How do I access the map- I cannot find hide nor hair of it anywhere and would really prefer not to start game over. Thank you!!

If you are using the IPad, touch in the upper right corner of the screen. Hope this helps
