Post any Halloween: The Pirate's Curse technical issues here only

If you are having problems getting the game to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. Here are a few suggested articles that have helped many people correct these types of problems in the past:

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen
Game Compatibility

While we can offer a known solution for technical issues in the Forums, or other tech savvy pond residents can swim by with good tips and suggestions, we cannot provide the same excellent level of support provided by our Customer Support team.

The Forums are not very well suited for the kinds of information gathering and troubleshooting that get these types of issues corrected quickly.

If there is a problem with the game, our Support Team can also gather necessary information on what types of computers are being affected by the problem and deliver this information to the developer for a fix.

Loaded the test game. It locked up. I went to the support tab, followed the instructions for the Screen Freezing. Uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game. Same problem, game loads, won't let me enter my name, freezes. I can't believe, as long as I have been with BF, this happens now. Too many games with too many issues. Disappointing.

I noticed that when I went to enter my name, I clicked on the area to do so and nothing happened. So I just started typing my name, and it showed up in the proper area. So far the game is working perfectly, and I'm about to buy it. You might want to try clicking once on the game area, and, when nothing happens, just type your name. It should show up there.

I wanted too play this but the cursor is too floaty,should have an option for a system cursor.

I'm sorry you're running into issues with the game freezing and the cursor not acting right!

For both of those issues, it can help to update your video card, graphics drivers and the programs that handle the display and sound of the game. We go over how to do that in our help article here.
