Seed Button?

I plucked the seed button out of the plant and when I try to play the game on the table using it, it is not in my inventory. I know I'm not the gamer of the universe, but help an old lady, someone, please. Thanks.

Did you try to use the Strategy Guide? It is located in the lower right corner of the game screen. It is a smallish scrap of paper with the "strategy guide" words on, next to Hint.

If you continue to have trouble with this seed button, you could give uninstalling and reinstalling the game a try, to see if that helps.
