scissors in farmhouse

I can't find any scissors in the basket like the strategy guide shows. Supposed to us them to cut silver bar down in the attic. Am I missing something? Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

You need a small key to open the box in the sewing basket, that is where the scissors are. The small key is located at the City Gates, zoom in on the witches banner (left hand side), the key is behind it.

Thanks elijah5 because they don't tell you that in the strategy guide and I got all the other bars but got stuck there.
