I've just done the last join but I'm still on the deductions board. Clicking hint does nothing.

I've sorted it. I looked at the strategy guide.

I got the same thing - 35 of 35 & stuck

If it's the same as me, you're actually at the deductions board too soon. Back out, go back to the map, then come in again. You've probably got things to analyze before you do the board.
