I have at last finished this mind blowing, head wrecking, very interesting and enjoyable game..... Whens the next one coming out.... LOVE IT

I think we need to show proof we've been through rehab before we're allowed to play the next in the series.

From what I have heard, Ekhord will come out with Totem Tribe 2 if this game does well on the market and they don't have to pay for counseling.

I finally finished the game (with the good ending) after reading a lot of tips, changing the colours of the gems, and looking at walkthroughs. Thanks to all. I enjoyed it very much, although my score was hardly spectacular. I seem to have missed three quests, despite solving, I thought all the puzzles.

I really think I must have done something wrong. When inside the comet, I tried to keep a couple of towers upright. This meant, for me, that I was constantly clicking "Repair". So, no spells were cast. Regardless of how many workers I had (8 huts) - they went everywhere en masse. I think I had a dozen or so Shaman tents, two or three archery ranges, and three temples. Was there a way to repair buildings and prepare spells at the same time? Should I not have bothered with the towers?

FYI, you are always repairing towers. Eventually the spells recharge. Towers are your defense for your village, trust me, you need them.

Thank you for your reply. Oh dear. During the octopus battle, I only briefly moved my cursor away from the tops of the towers in the octopus lair, and spell charging and tower repair seemed to be mutually eclusive. No way to split the troups, I suppose?

Nope, but my strategy was to regroup the troops when they seemed to not be getting past the minions. I would place the attack icon just in the corridor to the left of the T intersection before the boss. When I had my army fully regrouped, I then sent the next wave in. Kept doing that and it helped the army reach the boss easier. Someone told me, meteor shower hits the octopus boss hard.

my best suggestion to you is to BUILD MORE TOWERS. Once you get to about 12 towers shooting at once they almost instantly kill the attacker. Keep in mind I use arrow towers, so you might have different experiences with other towers (I hear lightening is good too). If you have enough towers you only need to check them periodically. I also keep three towers in the lair with the boss and one builder hut just south of them. I find i have to repair those three towers more often than anything in the village. I alternate my spell charging with my tower repair. I.e. I let the spell charge and when I hear the totem grunt i click on my tower and let it repair. Then i wait until my units have killed all the little attackers and then use battle fury on my army. Once my towers are finished i zip back down and set my spell to recharge again. Repeat until the end of time.
