end of game?

Poseiden just woke up and talked to me. Now the map , journal, etc has disappeared. Walkthrough says I am supposed to take Poseiden's trident. I can't find it on him or any where else.
Help?

That part can be a bit confusing! Here's a bit more information that hopefully helps:

Looking at Poseidon, on the left side of the screen, click on the shell to open it up and take the trident. Once you collect that, you should be able to continue on!

Yep, did that. The screen says" the shell is shut tight" and won't let me click on it.
This is my second time through the game 'cause it crashed and I lost all my progress. Don't want to do that again.
grrr . . .

Same here - I clicked on Poseidon to speed through the dialog, the dialog exited, but the voice over continued - and now I have no buttons on the bottom and the shell is closed. BUG!!!!
