Infinite Money Supply

[Post New]by ganonsbane on Jan 10, 13 1:18 PM
I found the infinite money supply in Old Docks. Moving boards from 1 counter to another counter for 5GP each trip. The best weapons are 1500GP. If you add armor & other expenses, you need 2500GP per character. Later, i get 2 more characters without weapons. 4 charartersmeans 10,000GP, that's 2,000 times to move the boards since it's the only way to get money.

I got to the point of chasing the Pink Cat-Girl for the Flower. I can fight a few enemies and might get enough money to heal at the Inn. The characters without weapons or armor are more of a burden than help.

I found a better way to make money. After I got weapons & armor, I can escort caravans for from Diablo Port to South Opress Tower for 250Gp each trip. I kill bandits for EXP & can rest at home to heal up.

It's not a boring as the carpentry shop but I still want enough to equip extra chararters.

Not getting money or many items to sell from fights really sucks! Doing the boards is really a snore. My hand gets cramped.. However, I did find making the boards is about the best way to earn enough money to buy the right equipment so you can move forward in the game.

After the side quest to find out what is happening to the supplies, you'll be able to to the supply route job again, it pays waaaay better, and the monsters start giving coins again too.

I just restarted this game because I couldn't kill the Djinn without good stuff and went directly to the docks for woodworking money. If I try to pick up the wood from the "other" pile, I am told "that's mine" but I cannot seem to acquire wood from the "correct" pile. I press space bar, enter, shake my computer, and nothing seems to work. Okay, so I'm not shaking my computer, but I sure feel like it. I had the same problem making money this way.

It doesn't seem like other people are hacing a problem with this, so what am I not doing right?

Do you have the volume ON ? You should hear a noise when you pick up the wood from your pile then go up to your bench press enter & hear a noise when you put it down. You can only tote 1 stack of wood. The hammering noise almost drove me nuts but I had to have the volume on to know when I picked wood up & put it down.

Once you have Marcus. Go to Diablo Port, where you hid in the 1st crate. Talk to the guard on the pier. You can guard caravans for 250GP per trip. You can rest at Will's House between trips. I did it 30 times & made 10,000GP then when Zahra & Emery joined the party, I could get equipment for them.

You can earn money AND experience doing the Caravans. That one of the things I liked about that as opposed to making boards and making boards.

I can't do the caravans any more o.o

I solved the orc issue, but there's no one to give the report to and no more caravans to take. Is there another way to make money? Other then the wood? That is too tedious for words.
