Travel to talk to Michael

When I press the 502 button to travel and talk to Michael the picture changes to the Merlin tree with Michael in it but when I click on it nothing is happening. I am not jumping into the past. Anyone else with this problem? What can I do to fix it?

Travel to the location with the hut and then go to the other location usual way (not via the time device). Hope that helps!
