connecting radio to robot in the Abyss????

What's the tool I need to connect the radio to the Robot in the Abyss and where do I find it?

I'm trying to figure this out, too! Every walkthrough or hint says "attach radio to robot" and I must not have the right tool to do it, but can't figure out what I need and/ or where to find it. Frustrating!

VERY! I've tried everything I can think of, back-tracked, re-read every WT I could lay my hands on and now I'm at a dead halt! Grrrrr HELP SOMEONE!!!!!!

use the butterfly and a hook.

ps disregard post about butterfly and hook, i dont know what that's referring to. Your radio that Chester appears on is what you need. just zoom on the robot and take out the radio and you're all set!
