Help them collect acorns and spare parts for their underground drilling machines by spelling as many words as you can before time runs out.
Sometimes I really wonder about developers. Yep, that what word game fans want, an adrenalin rush...? <---- said with high sarcasm. *sigh* I will give this a go cuz I do like word games, but highly doubtful it will be for me because of Timer aspect. Reminds me of one I played elsewhere... I think it was Beavers defending a dam? Using word canons? Something like that. Fun, but yep, too hectic with timer.
Crazy.
Back eventually with review.

NO RELAXED = NO SALE!
Good graphics, cute gophers, interesting idea, wanted to see more. Each level you must spell enough words to get to guide the gopher to the carrot. You start with a very short amount of time, and while any 3 or better letter word adds time it is a tiny amount. Pause to think at all, like trying to work out the 6 letter bonus word and forget it. I didn't get enough words to move on from 2nd Puzzle! Look, I have an excellent vocabulary, have played word games since I was itty bitty, scored a nearly perfect score on the almost every vocab test I ever took in school and am often complimented on my writing. But slap a timer on me and I can't form sh... what do I do with i and t again? The timer is stupid fast and what's the point? I honestly believe if a person likes to work word puzzles they are unlikely to want the hurry hurry rush adrenalin spike. What's next? "EXTREME CROSSWORD! Spell for your life as you dodge lasers manned by evil aliens..." It just doesn't make sense. Unless this is an attempt to get kids to work on their spelling? But they are highly unlikely to know half the words. *sigh*
So anyway, another few lost by developers refusing to serve those most likely to want what they're serving.

PB I think you may have inadvertently given a few sadistic game developers an idea!!!

Well I'm going to be the odd one out here but then I was before ...didn't buy RTR even though I like adventure games, just didn't do it for me.
I have been waiting for this one, trialled it a few weeks ago and loved it, I am so happy it has come on Bigfish (and I didn't cave in and buy at big price).
But we are all different and that's a good thing I happen to like games with a timer (although not most Time Management games yuk) oh dear am I really so different from the average game player
Now I have to decide whether to wait 3 days and buy with my monthly credit or get it now!
I think it has quite a bit more to it than your ordinary word game in the way you can advance and unlock different locations with obstacles to overcome along the way, collecting 'gears' to make words underground to allow gophers to drill.
Worth a try if you like word games IMHO.

I have played half of the trial and it is a cute game. I enjoy word games; but, I dislike timers.
This game will not be an immediate buy. I won't say never though.

Just a little P.S. to my previous post on this game.............
I bought it and played for a couple of hours, I still really like the game but the dictionary seems a bit limited and I found the same combination of letters coming up again.......which is understandable if I'd played the game for weeks & weeks ....obviously they come up randomly but there surely should be something to stop this happening in such a short space of time.
I'm not sorry I bought it though.
