If you are having problems getting the game to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. Here are a few suggested articles that have helped many people correct these types of problems in the past:

Game crashed after playing for 10 mins, with a message asking you to report to the developer.

Hi Hapless,

Please don't worry about that message about passing info on to the developer, we will of course, be happy to help you with this.

To me, it sounds like your computer and game are not communicating as they should with one another.

The following help article has some general troubleshooting steps that have helped others to resolve similar issues:

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen

If those steps don't help, please run a Dr. Felix Diagnostic Report and then send that over to our Tech Support Team.

This will allow Tech Support to provide some advice tailored to your system!

Can't get onto the start screen. Sticks on mirror and roses with no links !

Hi jackryan,

I'm sorry to see that you have had this trouble.

When a game fails to open correctly, it normally indicates that the game and computer are not working with one another as well as they could.

The best way of remedying that, is to have a look at the help article here, for some great advice on updates you can run to help the computer handle the game more effectively.

If those steps don't work or you would like some help, please run a Dr. Felix Diagnostic Report and then send that over to our Tech Support Team.

I am in the dark woods and can't go back to hut. I use the hint button and it shows me to go forward into the dark but I can't go forward. And I can't go back. Stuck. Any advice?

I keep getting an Error Code 4, but cannot find that error code mentioned in the help section. What does it relate to please?

I closed out the game and it let me back out. Must be a glitch!

Was going to play demo but when I opened the game it was in double vision mode and very (can't think of a word here to describe!). Not blurry but hard to read, guess it was a kind of blurry, maybe like letters were doing double vision as well. There actually was one and about two thirds of another opening window. Never ever have I seen this when I have opened a game. Going to try it again and see what happens.
Got an update: I closed and then opened the game again and all was well. Have no idea what happened but I played the whole demo without a problem.
This is probably a very stupid question, but I have always wondered why my posts have a big red X at the top and no one else's posts do. How do I post without that red X?

I'm having an odd one. I can't DL the demo; to the side of the game page, it says BFG club members only, and gives an update link. I updated whatever I could think of. I changed payment methods as a last resort. Still get the same thing. (And the screen has my usual GC info at the top, with punch card and game credits showing.

Please tell me you haven't been hacked... I'd need to cancel a couple of cards.

alowan - great to see you got that resolved and I really hope you enjoy the game!

ozzielozza - the error code 4 could be caused by a number of different things but sometimes, adjusting your download method can help.

The help article here, has some tips on how to adjust your Game Manager settings and try the alternative download method.

For performance issues, checking that you have the most up to date drivers etc. will help to ensure your game runs smoothly for you. A crashes, freeze or the inability to progress are typically caused by the computer and game not communicating with one another as they should.

You can find some on updating the elements that help run your game here.

Of course, if you like, we would be happy to have a look at this with your issues and provide more specific support. When submitting a support ticket, please run a Dr. Felix Diagnostic Report and then send that over to our Tech Support Team so they can get to helping you right away.

Finally, linda43416 - the red X to the top of your posts is the option to delete your post should you wish to - it doesn't appear on any other posts you see because you can only edit your own.

I, too am unable to play the game. It downloaded fine, but when I tried to put my name in to play, "Jessica" kept coming up in the mirror. When I finally decided to go with Jessica, the next image was to give me a choice of game levels, but the cursor did not produce any activity. I had to turn off my computor manually to get out of the game. I tried this twice before giving up. Too bad. It looked like a good game.

I have a problem with my game Silent Scream II: The Bride

I can't do anything at the pond... i tried to put the nails and hammer...

Besides that everything works awesome... Love the game

i was playing the demo when i got to the forest following the girl when i get to the 2nd turn the game goes blank and completely freezes up my computer...major glitch!
did it 2x when i decided to let y'all know was going to buy it but now i wont

The "program is not responding" is what I get when I try to close (no other option than close) the minimized window. Then I get the other message and have to close it that way. I am not going to bother.
i am having the same problem has a fix been posted yet or a reply from game maker
