Did you put the gold locket into the center slot? If so, the only reason the door won't open (if you have a PC) is that you don't actually have all 10 hearts in their slots. It's hard to tell because the slots are so decorative. If you have a MAC, there could be a glitch. I suggest you read the MAC thread for that info.

The hearts can be in different locations each time you play the game. If you go to page 5 of this topic you will find a list of the possible places they can be.

I have all the hearts but It will not let me put the last one in. What am I missing?

Try it in each every slot, even if you think it's already filled.

Did you put the gold locket into the center slot?

I did placed 11 hearts but theres nothing hapenned. I couldn't remove the hearts also to try replace it once more. What should I do ? Pls help.......thanks.

Are you on a PC or a Mac? If you're on a PC, the only reason the door won't open is because you don't actually have all the hearts in place, even though it looks like you do. Oh, and sometimes the door has opened, but people don't realize it has. Just step back (click the cursor when it turns into an arrow at the bottom or the screen) and check.

If you're on a Mac, I can't help. There may be a glitch. There's a special thread for Mac users on this forums that you should check out to see if that problem has been mentioned. Otherwise, contact customer service via the to the right.

After reading the prior posts, I realize I need to find hearts. Why? I have the locket in my inventory. But what do I need to do now?

I'm at the heart door. Have the locket in the center & 8 "jeweled" hearts. I have worked backwards & forward but, to no avail. I can not find the last 2. Nothing sparkels or shines to give me a hint. I found the heart in the boat, so that's out.
From Victor's cottage all the way back to the entrance gate. Any helps I can get?

Also, did you go up the ladder on the front porch then up the rope to the attic baby carriage? Did you go all the way back to the front gate?

Went from Heart Door back to Emma, the study, beauty parlor, bedroom, bathroom, basement, kitchen, LR, garden, shore, porch, library, theatre, attic, outside the house, well, entrance, the cottage, toy shop, twins crypt, sharpener room, school, store, elevator, bat cave, tomb, telescope and got the one from the boat. I can not find another "sparkling" area. Please, what am I doing incorrectly?

My 3rd time thru, looking for hearts 10 & 11, there appeared "sparkles" in the dolls tea party room. Maybe I need to close it down again and try for my last heart?

Just to be clear, you need one gold locket and 10 jeweled hearts. The gold locket and one heart are on the same level as the heart door. Did you check the shed next to Victor's cottage? It's the only other heart (other than the two I mentioned), that's always in that area.

I have just gone thru the full game and there is no sparkles remaining. Are all
the hearts in a ****? I found a **** "sparkle" last night, but nothing more today.
Thanks for your help about Victors cottage, but I got those in the beginning of the Heart Door. Can't think of anywhere I've missed. Started at the f gate and went thru the garden, graveyard, kitchen, basement, toy store, school, grinding wheel,,
trolley, victors house & shop, upstairs & down, back up and thru the general store again, all the way up & down the elevator, back to the beauty parlor, stairs and
bedroom/bathroom. Oh, and up the ladder into the attic, library and theatre.
I already have the main heart pendant and now have 9 others. The last one eludes me. Help. Will it be in a **** "sparkle"?

Yes, all 10 hearts are in a HOG sparkly. (The gold central locket does not count).
