Ocean Stairs - Steps to Cottage

how do I work the puzzle on the stairs? I did the chisel thing but don't know how to go from there. Help please

Help I screwed up the top book shelf and can't open it to get the axe.

The top shelf doesn't matter. Just make sure that the books are in order on the bottom shelf.

For those of you playing this game, if you REALLY, REALLY want something to help you through the whole game, spend the buck and invest in the strategy guide offered by Bigfish Games. It is excellent, and I honestly think that unless you have this guide or some other walkthrough, you will never find everything there is to find in this game.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I am sooooo lost! Now that I've got the fuse in the board, I can't find the dark room that the fuse is supposed to light up. Can someone please tell me where that room is again? Thanks.

It lights up the schoolhouse, which is next to the toy store where you found the fuse.

I had the putty knife and was scraping the steps but nuttin ever showed up guess i was scraping wrong step. Then the putty knife disappeared out of my hand so i looked in inventory but it wasnt there either so what do i have to do in order to get it back. I stay in enough trouble with out this game given me any trouble.

I started with what you are supposed to do with the putty knife & hope you can get it from there.

•Take the putty knife from inventory and place it on the steps, click it until the Raven's heads are visible.
•If you look in the book, you will see some red circles around certain Raven's that were on the steps.
•Go up the steps to the game.

•The goal in this game is to position the crows in the same order that you saw on the steps.
•Click on each tile and it will move in the direction that the beak is facing.
•This solution may be different for everybody but here's the solution that I received.
•R= Facing to the right
•U=Facing Upwards.
•L-Facing Left
•D=Facing Downwards.

•ALTERNATE SOLUTIONS
•Alternate # 1

•You can always click back and look at the positions on your steps to make sure that you are doing it correctly.
•Once the puzzle is correct, a stone bridge will gap the space between the steps.
•Go upstairs.

Im just gonna go on to bed and maybe when i get house cleaned up tomorrow maybe i will play then.
