Help please with Cruel Games: Red Riding Hood

[Post New]by joyce2121 on Mar 10, 13 10:50 AM
On the books in the bookcase towards end of game:

Don't like to skip minis, and am stuck on this one. WT only
shows placement of books by color and doesn't show
titles and I'm trying to figure out the logic. Also, colors
are hard to distinguish. If I just skip, I'll never know
the order. I prefer WTs with better explanations.
Not any current activity in game forum, so will also
post this in CCC, and hopefully get some advise
in one or the other.

It's been a while since I played this game, but I really loved it!!

I looked at the WT through try and refresh my memory. I can't remember if the books you need to move have titles, but if you look at the edge of each shelf there's a symbol. Shelf 1 has a heart (maybe romance stories), Shelf 2 has coins (money related books?), and Shelf 3 has a picture of 2 children (children's stories?)

If you can see titles on your books, then move them to the shelf with the correct subject matter. The WT should then help you tell each book apart.

Hope this helps!

Joyce, did you ever figure out the book puzzle? I played this game awhile back but don't really remember. If you still need help, I will look at the WT and see if it jogs my memory. Just let me know.

Thank you all very much. I do believe it was the
logic that misschrissi quoted but since I'm
unfamiliar with some of these books, it did become
trial and error. (example: 6 swans came under
childrens which I would never have known. Was
trying to put it in the coin row simply because it
contained a number.)

None of them clicked in place as correct until they
all were; and once they were, cannot read the
titles anymore, so not positive where the last few
fell in place.

Could have used better info in the WT, but thanks
to the good fishies in the pond, I didn't have to do
a blind skip.
