Dynamite /wires/numbers

Helppppppp ! I'm stuck on the dynamite & wires puzzle. I don't get how to do it, I kinow wires/colors = numbers. But what I don't get is what colors are for like the number 7 ? Can someone please explain it to me . Thanks

They give you the wire colors for 2, 4 and 6. Then look where one stick just has an orange wire so you know that orange = seven. By color combinations and the numbers on the stick you work backwords to deduce what wire color equals what number. There one stick that has a 6 and 4, look at the sheet to see what colors equal the numbers and attach that wire to the stick. Hope this helps and I hope I wasn't too confusing.

There are only 6 colored wires: (1) orange; (2) light blue or aqua; (3) yellow; (4) pink; (5) green; and (6) dark blue. What's the seventh color? How can you randomly give green the number 7? If so, what colors are 1, 3, and 5? Clues should at least make sense.
