Tips and Tricks for Virtual Farm

[Post New]by bfgAegean on Jun 19, 08 10:07 AM
Timing is Everything - When a new contract comes your way, wait until the last minute before you accept it. This will help you get a jump on preparing what the contract asks for, especially if it's a rather large order.

Supply and Demand - Keep an eye on what is selling well and what isn't on the market. If you throw a lot of money into equipment and crops for a product that isn't selling, you'll find yourself in the hole sooner than you think.

Stock Your Shelves - Don't be so quick to sell off what you have stored in your shed. Keeping a stockpile of various goods is great for completing contracts that much faster, and that's where the real money is.

These are just a few ideas to help you out. If you have other suggestions, post them below!

I created a walkthrough for Virtual Farm. It gets you through the first 40 tasks. Gives suggestions on when to get your upgrades as if you upgrade your equipment or processing buildings too soon, you won't have the deposit for the contract(s). If you miss any, your count will start over. After playing for several weeks and more start overs than I can count, I can say with certainty that after that, it is next to impossible to get 40 in a row because of all the building, demolishing, and processing required. Plus your storage isn't big enough to stay ahead far enough.

Also after contract 108, they change order and amounts of produce asked for, so it's extremely difficult to be ready when you don't know what you are going to get.

This has happened in about 7 different games that have reached this point.

What can I say, I love this game and play it several hours a day.

Hi ladycrash1022! I had to edit your post, because we discourage referencing other websites, and/or advertising. However, if you'd like to post your walkthrough here for the forum users to see, you may do so. If you have any other questions, please feel free to read our forum FAQ. Thanks!

Happy gaming!

Hi all,

I finally figured out how to position plants to get the 7 plants award. If anyone would like a screen shot that'll show you how to do it, please PM me since I cannot post the picture or reference another website.
