Tips and Tricks for Tropicabana

[Post New]by bfgAegean on Jun 19, 08 10:11 AM
Buy, Buy, Buy – Don’t worry about hoarding the money you make because you’re a starving musician. As soon as you can upgrade something in the club, do it. Every upgrade you buy, or character you hire, adds bonuses to your performances which increase your earnings with each show you put on.

Chain Your Power-ups – As you unlock more power-ups, you’ll find that you have to keep lesser ones in queue in order to access more powerful ones. If you let yourself wait until all of your active power-ups are charged before using them, you’ll find it will draw a much higher response from the audience.

These are just a few ideas to help you out. If you have other suggestions, post them below!

I have found that breaking the gray "metal" blocks takes a chain of 4 or a well placed cherry bomb. This was probably mentioned as a hint when I first played the game but i missed it in frenzy of playing! Also, use those power ups, it gets you nothing not to use them and they recharge quickly. PS I love this game.

Thanks - but I can't get the game to run! I've upgraded everything, including DirectX, I've downloaded, uninstalled and reinstalled the game so many times. It won't run for me. I have Windows XP and don't have a problem with other games, so I don't understand. I've even downloaded it from different sites. Nothing works.

I get the page to play the demo or buy the game. I click to play and get an error message saying a graphic file or something can't be found and it won't go any further.

What am I missing???
