Hobo Clock DX HELP MEH

Im stuck on the Hobo Clock in the game I'm on the word bottom and I cant change the word to Flute. Thisby, and Pyramus. I keep trying to go out and back in but it wont do anything and when I do the Hobo signals for it, it does not work. Someone help!!!

I am stuck at the end of the hobo clock at bottom, I put in the symbols for bottom and they wont stay light up any suggestions ?

After I click on the right buttons they wont stay light please help me
