Tips and Tricks for Laura Jones and the Gates of Good and Evil

Hints - You can always locate more hints by finding the “?” in the scene. Sometimes there will be more than one extra hint in a scene, so keep an eye out for them! There’s no limit to the amount of hints you can save up and the puzzle at the end of the game is pretty tricky, so you will want to find as many hints as you can and save them up for the last level. Puzzles Hints can be used to locate objects that you are looking for in a scene, but you can also use to get help on any puzzles you may run into.

Usable Objects - If you find yourself in a room and you don’t know what to do first, try moving your mouse slowly over things in the room you think you might use. Any object that is useful to you will sparkle.

Hi Whisperone! Here's a little help for that last level:
There will be a stone structure directly in front of you and three rooms beyond that. You can ignore the stone structure for now and focus first on the three rooms. For this walkthrough, I’ll be referring to the room on the left as Room 1, the room in the middle as Room 2 and the room on the right as Room 3. Lets get started!

Enter Room 1 and you will see six columns. Place the appropriate artifact from your inventory onto the column on the right. A heart shape pendent will appear. Take the pendant and then go to Room 2. Click on the last column on the right and place the pendant into the sculpture that appears. Now, place the appropriate artifact onto the column that rose up in this room.

Go to Room 3 and grab the crown that appeared. Next, go to Room 1 and click on the last column on the right and a statue will appear. Place the crown on the statue.

Now go to Room 3 and place one of your artifacts on to the second column on the left. A hammer will appear. Grab the hammer and head to Room 2. Once you are in this room, click on the first column on the left. A mechanical statue of a man and a spring will appear. Place the hammer into the statue. It breaks...no problem!

Go to Room 1 and place one of your artifacts on to the second column on the left. Now go to Room 3 and place the broken hammer into the mouth of the sculpture that has appeared. Now click the button below its mouth and your hammer will be repaired! Retrieve your hammer and go back to Room 2 and place the hammer back into the statue on the left.

Go to Room 3 and place your artifact on the column on the right. Now go to Room 2 and grab the drum that appeared there (it looks like a golden tootsie roll). Go back to Room 1 and click on the first column on the left. A stand for the drum will appear, so place your drum there.

Next, go to Room 2 and place your last artifact on the column on the middle column on the left. Go to Room 1 and retrieve a stone disc that appeared there. Take the stone disc and head outside to the stone structure in the front of the scene. Place the stone disc in the center of the stone structure and you will see that it fits perfectly.

Now go and retrieve nine heads from the rooms. You will find that there are three heads in each room (some are easier to find than others). Place all of the heads into the appropriate places in the stone structure based on the stone tablet you retrieved and you will have won the game!
