Post any Plight of the Zombie technical issues here only

If you are having problems getting the game to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. Here are a few suggested articles that have helped many people correct these types of problems in the past:

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen
Game Compatibility

While we can offer a known solution for technical issues in the Forums, or other tech savvy pond residents can swim by with good tips and suggestions, we cannot provide the same excellent level of support provided by our Customer Support team.

The Forums are not very well suited for the kinds of information gathering and troubleshooting that get these types of issues corrected quickly.

If there is a problem with the game, our Support Team can also gather necessary information on what types of computers are being affected by the problem and deliver this information to the developer for a fix.

If you are not able to get a game working properly using our Help pages, please get in touch with our Customer Support team, you can find a link to contact our Support team on the front page of our Help pages.

When posting in this thread and also when contacting our Support Team, it would be helpful if you could state what system you are playing the game on (i.e. PC, MAC or Mobile), so we can provide you with the appropriate support as quickly as possible.

*Finally, please reserve this thread for tech issues only. If you are seeking game play assistance (i.e. hints and tips), the best thing to do is to start a new thread in the game's Forum by clicking on 'Create New Discussion.'

I cannot play this. My monitor says "input signal out of range".
Apparently it switches to a resolution my monitor does not support.

The max of my monitor is 1280x1024. Any way to change the in-game resolution before starting it?

Hi famkehoopers,

Welcome to the Pond!

That error can come up for a couple different reasons, such as an incompatible screen resolution or a refresh rate setting. If you'd like, you can try adjusting your resolution using our help article here:

Screen Resolution

If that's not helping, our Tech Support Team can look into that further and recommend some other steps to take.

Hopefully that helps!

Hello bfgSeine!

Thanks for your reply. The IT guru here says that the issue is actually that the game starts in a higher resolution than my monitor can support. Unless the creator of the game makes the resolution changeable before start, I cannot play this game unfortunately.

I cannot find any config file to change it. Too bad, seemed like a nice game.

Kind regards,

Famke.

Hi famkehoopers,

Thanks for following up with us on this and I am sorry there wasn't better news!

As different machines handle and display games in different ways, it is not really possible to predict with accuracy, how each game will display on certain computers. This is one of the reasons that we provide the free trials, so that you can check how the games run before you commit to buy so I would definitely suggest taking advantage of trials to help avoid any disappointment with games you may be interested in in future.

Hoping this info is helpful and that you find another game to enjoy real soon!

When is someone going to answer the question "is there a way to re-start the game??"
As I am not the only one that would like to be able to re-play this game.
