How do I check the version of CM3?

I want to actually get my hands on the old version, the 1.001a version. How do I do that and how I check which version I have? I can't find it anywhere on the site or in properties. Does anyone know? Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Hi Wild ~ just start up the game and on the splash screen you see when it's loading, in lower left corner, it shows the version

if that flies by too fast for you to see version number, click on options in main menu, the version # is shown at bottom of options menu too

curious why you'd want to go back to earlier version if you have the newer one, did you have probs with updated version? cause i just downloaded new version yesterday and will be if i find when i try it that it doesn't work well

not sure if customer support could help you with that or not, if they might be able to give you a link to an archive of older version or something maybe, worth a try? other than that, sorry no idea

No, the new version is just fine, but someone gave me a great tip that doesn't work on the 1.004 version and I'd love to try it since I just downloaded this game a few weeks ago. It works on the 1.001a version, but not the current one and I'm struggling to get through some other levels that no matter what I do, how I start, what I upgrade - nothing - cannot win it it seems. The new version is just fine and I hope you thoroughly enjoy playing it! Thanks for the response!!
