Floppy disc in HOS

I cannot find the floppy disc in the barn and when I press the hint button, nothing happens. It's been a pretty good game til now.

YES!!! Does ANYONE have a solution? I see there's been 97 views of this question so far, but no answers.

JUST found the answer after giving up and clicking repeatedly all over the place. The book has the floppy disk in it. Now the FIRST couple times when I clicked on it, the book was unresponsive so just keep trying. Poor design!!!
