If you are having problems getting the game to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. Here are a few suggested articles that have helped many people correct these types of problems in the past:

While we can offer a known solution for technical issues in the Forums, or other tech savvy pond residents can swim by with good tips and suggestions, we cannot provide the same excellent level of support provided by our Customer Support team.

The Forums are not very well suited for the kinds of information gathering and troubleshooting that get these types of issues corrected quickly.

If there is a problem with the game, our Support Team can also gather necessary information on what types of computers are being affected by the problem and deliver this information to the developer for a fix.

The game played fine for me, but I had no sound. I may uninstall and reinstall, but there's so much talking that I doubt I'll get this as a CE. Maybe as a SE, using a coupon...

Heya mgpaquin,

I'm so sorry to hear that there were some sound issues with your game.

If you'd like to continue playing the game, but want to make sure there's sound, first I'd recommend double checking another game or your music on your computer, to ensure that the speakers are plugged in correctly or there isn't another simple fix.

If it's just this game where the sound isn't working, I would suggest contacting our Tech Support Team so one of our Reps can take a closer look.

I hope this is resolved for you quickly!

I am stuck on the spikes, I placed them on the circle but can't play the game it wont even let me skip.. I have deleted the game and reinstalled numerous times.. it keeps taking me to the spike/clock handels??

During free trail play, game froze. I will not buy a game with problems. I had to completely shut down laptop to get out of game. I un-installed the game. It takes to long to get a refund, I f you are offer one and it is not worth risk verses the price and time to do a re-install, play game and hope it does not freeze or that freezes before you spend the money on a CE game.

EvieGame - have you tried looking at the built in strategy guide for this game to see if that has any tips on solving this puzzle?

try3cats - Because a freeze like you described indicates that the game is not running as smoothly as it should, I would encourage you to have a look at the following help article which will guide you through updating those elements that run your game:

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen

If a slightly newer driver has been released, that could make all the difference.

That being said, if the suggestions I have made don't help or you would like us to assist you with this though, please run a Dr. Felix Diagnostic Report and then send that over to our Tech Support Team. One of our Reps will be happy to assist you.

Playing on a PC. In the land of giant mushrooms, I'm in the cave. I lifted the cart and got the gunpowder but there was no dull Machete. Once I backed out to look in area, I can't look at the cart again. Is there somewhere else to look or do I need to start over?

Why waste money and time on a game that has problems. Game froze in less than 30 minutes of free play and I had to completely turn off my new laptop(MAY 2013) to get out of game. Warning Not worth the risk for the $$$.

bevferree - Welcome to the Forums! It could be that you can find some hints as to where the dull machete is by having a look at the strategy guide that you can find on the lower right by clicking on the button saying Guide. If it isn't in the mentioned play, uninstalling and reinstalling the game could also help to make it appear again.

try3cats - I'm sorry to hear that your game froze like that! Even with new computers it can be that some of the drivers are not up to date as they are usually being installed long before the computer is being sold. You can find some easy steps on how to get everything up-to-date by clicking here.

Enjoyed enough to purchase and when I went back in, the game I was on (box with picture slides) won't play, won't skip and the hint says "nothing to do here" even though all tiles are in place and I was playing when the trial ended. Is there a fix? If I have to start over again, I would prefer a refund. Having problems only AFTER buying is frustrating.

I played the demo and then decided to buy. It won't download and I've tried at least six times. This is the only game I've purchased from Big Fish after being a member several years and have never had this happen.

Well, after several attempts, I got it downloaded, now it won't do anything when I press Play!!!

ritchieprod - it sounds to me like the saved data from the trial version of this game is interring with the game itself, which can happen with some titles. For help with this and so that you are not left with a game you cannot enjoy, please get in touch with Tech Support Team. One of our Reps will be happy to assist you.

bsbagwell -sorry to see are having so much trouble installing your game. It may help to try uninstalling and reinstalling the Big Fish Games App.

This will help ensure that this application is performing as it should as reinstalling will smooth out any kinks for you.

If the problem continues however, my best suggestion would be to run a Dr. Felix Diagnostic Report and then send that over to our Tech Support Team. If you could include all error number you have received in that mail as well, that would be really help us to get to the root cause quickly for you.

I was way past this point. Then when I just started again tonight, the game picked up here. I already played this scene. All I'm getting is the two gears spinning. Now I have to start all over. Ticks me off.

Please review my posts............I would prefer not to type all of it again.............if nothing can be done, please give me refund and I will purchase a game without all the glitches.....................Oh, frustrated me!

Even though you are both having some trouble with different parts of the game, your descriptions make me feel like the game is not running as it should for either of you.

To give the game the best chance of playing smoothly, I would encourage you to try the advice in the following help article to see if there are any updates that you can run?

Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen

Even a few simple updates can make a vast improvement! also, just to add that after running updates, it may be a good idea to start over with a new profile so that you have a clean slate.

No problems with Demo but because they dont let you play very much...

BOUGHT::: and zoomed in on top of a chest like 1/2 hr into game and its full screen and NOWHERE is there an X or arrow down with the cursor!!!! If I control Alt delete and stop game probably going to lose progress...

AND::: Will it happen again???

seeing people with a few glitches!??

dlcoyte - as the mouse has suddenly failed to display for you, I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that helps?

I would also encourage you to take a look at the following help article which has some great advice on how to update the elements that display your game:

I had issues with spike hands disappearing and am in process of re-installing game but it sounds like I may have other issues down the line. And it sounds so simple to just keep saying 'uninstall & reinstall' but that is a huge hassle & takes time so please don't make it sound like it's not a big deal. I am sure most of us try to fit in an hour here, an hour there of gameplay between work, chores, family...life! When I find a little time to myself to play I do not want to deal with tech issues. Now I am at a standstill; I can play another game but I'm frustrated now so will prob just go watch tv. And yes, people need to make sure they have the latest updates but I am a software developer (a tester) and find it extra annoying when glitches like this are not found during beta stages and game is released to public.

That being said I have found the BFG support staff to be very quick & extremely helpful. However, the ideal sitch would be to put them out of a job by not having many glitches
