Help, I can't save my game, I have to start over!!!!!

Weird, hoping someone can help me I have the first Azada, can't seem to get the game to save even though I pick "save and exit". I created myself, then when I go back in I am once again "player", my name is gone and I have to start at the beginning. I finally made it through to chapter 6, but I am reluctant to take so much time every time I want to play, just once I want to get through the game.

Any ideas?

This had happened to us too and I've tried customer service and gotten no answer. It started out working fine for a couple of times and then all of a sudden it started doing exactly what you're talking about. Not saving the game and having to start all over. I've tried customer service and have gotten absolutely no answer. If you find a solution to this problem, PLEASE let me know what it is. Thanks

This is among my favorite games. Sorry to hear that you are having problems with it. I don't have a clue what the problem might be but customer support is usually pretty good about solving problems. Have you clicked on the green envelope to the right?
Hope you can get this fixed & can enjoy the rest of the game!

I must of replayed chapter one 15 times I can now do it with my eyes closed...
Unfortunately, I don't have time to spend to finish the whole entire game straight through.
All this to say, me too!! I can't save and have to start over again and again snifff

It sounds to me like there is a missing file or maybe a corrupted one in your game. Have you tried deleting it and reinstalling? Try that and see if it helps.

I am having the same problem, and have re-downloaded new installers and re-installed.
It is strange that there are multiple questions on this forum about this problem without solutions.

I have also written to tech. support and am waiting for a reply.
They have been good in the past so I'm hoping for an answer. But I see other people have said that and not gotten replies.

My version is on the mac. I have successfully downloaded and installed other games, so not sure what the trouble is with this one...

Follow up:
I DID get the game to finally save.

To solve the problem, I did a search for Azada and deleted the game file AND the preferences files. I believe the preferences files were corrupt.

I reinstalled and the game is saving without trouble.
