Please help! Can't get going in this game!

I just started my trial of this game. First, I was disappointed that it uses the keyboard for controls - always find that so awkward. Anyway, decided to try. I got over a little bridge and to a gate with a space under it and was told to hold down Right Mouse Key and press Space to make her roll under. Well, she doesn't roll under, she jumps like she does whenever I press Space. Sometimes she rolls a bit in the air, but won't roll under the gate or even over it. What do I do? Is this whole game full of problems like this? If it is, I can't be bothered, although it looks cute.

Try hitting the down arrow key just before you hit the space bar. If you hit the space bar before you hit the down arrow key she will jump up instead of roll. I've not ever seen anything that says to use the mouse keys.

All I can say is this is not a game for people with any kind of hand or joint problrms. I tried getting around that gate so many times I can't even move my hands without pain.

cll - thanks for posting about it. Now I know to not waste my money on a game I won't be able to play. I wish that the games that use the keyboard came with a warning for those of us that have arthritic hands and/or joint problems. I appreciate the heads up :-)

I also appreciate the warning! I can't play games that use the keyboard for controls, either. It looked like a really cute game, and I thought it might work like "Jungle Jump" in Tropix, with only the mouse, but I guess not.

Guess I'd better find something else for my last Oktoberfest game... (C'mon, BFG, put Redrum out for tomorrow!!!)
