Barrel in Kitcen

How do you open it? Crowbar or Pinchers don't seem to work. HELP

The crowbar works

I used the crowbar and it worked to open barrel full of water. Perhaps precise placement of the crowbar in just the right place on the barrel will allow it to work. This game has lots of quirks!
