If you are having problems getting the game to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. Here are a few suggested articles that have helped many people correct these types of problems in the past:

While we can offer a known solution for technical issues in the Forums, or other tech savvy pond residents can swim by with good tips and suggestions, we cannot provide the same excellent level of support provided by our Customer Support team.

I'm trying the PC version of the demo, and I get this message, "Error: Access violation at 0x00000000 (tried to read from 0x00000000), program terminated". I've deleted and reinstalled the demo, but I still get this same message. What can I do to sample this game?

Hello Evande,

There's a great help article with details about dealing with access violations. To access that, just click on the blue text below:

Access Violations

Because that error is happening before the game starts, I'd suggest checking to see if all of your software and drivers are up to date. If they are, my next recommendation would be to run the game as an administrator.

If that doesn't work, one of our Tech Support Reps would be happy to look into this issue and offer some more specific advice to help resolve things.

hello bfg deveron apprently i quit this game last night and today i found my profile had been corrupted and right now i have to restart ugh think about it i was a long way through the game & then you're told "one or more profile's has been corrupted". this is the second time i have had this problem and come to think of it maybe this happened because i have an alienware windows 7 computer and i press the turnon/turn off button instead of restarting it manually? is this what happened and why? and my second question is is this what happened and how do ifix it (because i love to press said button). if you could please take the time to answer this question, please do. Also, if you are confused please ask me to clarify as i'd like a solution to: is this what happened of is it just me.
