count to twelve for the first tray, and seven for the next two. once you have the paper in the tray that is. hope this helps.

I am having the same problem.

I even tried a fast count to seven, the paper turns black and must be thrown away. I am glad there is a limitless supply of paper.

Make sure you have the right mixtures. I repeated this several times until I realized I used Sodium sulfite instead of Sodium thiosulfate in the right tray. Also, make sure you add distilled water in the middle tray.

Left tray - Developer - hydroquinone, Metol, Sodium sulfite, alkaline mix and distilled water
Middle tray - Stop Bath - Acetic acid and distilled water
Right tray - Fixer - Sodium thiosulfate and Potassium metabisulfite

Put the microfilm on the glass plate on the left.
Turn on the red bulb.
Place the paper to the bottom of the enlarger.
Turn the switch on and it will automatically turn off when done.
Put the paper in the left tray and count 12 seconds. (1001, 1002, 1003...)
Put the paper in the middle tray and count off 7 seconds.
Put the paper in the right tray and count off 7 seconds.

Once done, hang the paper on the line above the table.

I can't seem to get through the stop step. I remixed all the solutions and still get stuck on tray #2.

I am at 2 1/2 to 3 seconds time before the paper is completely black. I don't think it should be completely black when it is finished in tray 2. Someone please give me a heads up on this please.

Well I went back to my saved game in the darkroom and miraculously I was able to develop the film. Mo Joke. Not even sure how it happened.
