pfalcioni wrote:I really enjoyed this game, the graphics and music show amazing craftsmanship and hard work went into this title. Little touches like the mouse dragging the puppet head, very cool and creepy!
I agree, it was a bit short, although it took me probably 3 hours or more (I relaxed and enjoyed exploring).
Some folks mentioned an abrupt ending, but I felt it pulled together well, as long as you watch the closing credits.
Can't wait for the next installment!
I also thought they pulled the ending together well enough to leave an opening for a sequel, and I found the little details to be very visually engaging. I enjoyed this game so much that I am also dying for the next installment.

Skimmed most reviews (250+ is a lot to read!) but I seem to agree with most of what I read...
Pros: beautiful graphics, nicely haunting music, creepy storyline. Fun little mini-games. In the hidden object scenes, you don't have to click on one object at a time (a pet peeve of mine!) but can click as fast as you see the object. Not a lot of filler & transitioning where you're wading through story and dialogue. You can click through dialogue if you're a fast reader, and don't have to wait for it to load. Inventory ("Tools") was easy to use.
Cons: It seemed awfully short. I could tell when we were getting close to the end, and was hoping for a few more levels. I like mini-games, would've liked more. BIGGEST peeve so far: it appears as though the hidden object scenes give you the exact same objects to find, each time. (Obviously each scene will render up one particular object for the toolbox, but the rest of the to-be-found-objects don't need to be the same!) Also, there's no score/time board that I could find ... since the whole story by then is revealed, what's the point in playing again, if you don't have a time or score to beat? Also, I had to lower my PC toolbar in order to see the bottom row of the list of hidden objects--that may just be my computer.
Overall, I'd give it a "better than most games I've played" but "not as good as Return to Ravenhearst".

Just wanted to pop in and agree with the majority on this one. I just finished playing the game today and really enjoyed it. The art/graphics were amazing, and that's something I really love in a hidden object game. Others have already pointed out most of the pros/cons (like the game being a little on the easy side), but I wanted to add my thumbs up. Fun game, wicked art (love the idea of puppet people). I hope there's a longer, slightly more challenging, sequel.

This game was ok..I have to agree that the graphics were great but it was way too short. There has to be a part 2. The story was creepy a bit disturbing with the broken dolls and the creepy little "thing" running around which, by the way, reminded me of the demented doll in Toy Story 2. In all it was again, ok. Needed to be longer!
