Purplerabbit wrote:Poppa, we get snow everywhere in the UK, particularly in February. They certainly had snow in Blackpool this year.
But, I have never heard of Banshees relating to England, let alone Blackpool, so I believe this will be a new location.
Besides, how would they get a new place built so quickly?
If the new game follows RTR chronologically, it has been one year since Ravenhearst burned. A new building can be built in a matter of weeks or months. Also, don't forget Victor has a time machine so..................................

Sorry Poppa, you really are trying too hard to tie this to Ravenhearst!

Just replaying RTR for inspiration, and in the first scene, the sign by the gate dedicating the house to Emma is dated 1985, the same year Victor went back to.
I think that this game is going to be tottaly seperate from Ravenhearst, although maybe either Charles or Victor will have a bit part somewhere.

one final speculation on my part: Imagine that the pond were a real place and us fish are the citizens. We know that the new game is coming out on such and such a day.
The game is not a downloadable game directly thru the PC. WE need to go to the pond toystore and purchase a game CD. There are only 200 copies available. Will some of you fish camp out in front of the store overnight to be sure to get a copy? Imagine if you will llstjohn and Max fighting over the last copy.
now I'm done speculating. There have been so many good ideas here that there are some things I would like to see in the new game. With so much speculating, I don't want to be disappointed because something I perceived is not reality.

If there was only ever going to be 200 copies, yes I would camp out!

Picman has said that the new game is not "raven" related.
Picmans clues led us to Irish Folklore and banshees.
Sounds like new story, new location.

Victor is not dead, but he may not make an appearance in this episode. But you, Master Detective, have not yet left the UK.
More clues to come. This game was the biggest production ever attempted by BFG and will not disappoint!
Picman
The Master Detectives are waiting for more clues.

Is it possible Emma's sister will come into play? Could Charles be haunting her now that Emma is free?

I saw that there is speculation as to where Dire Grove is. Did anyone notice that it looks like a picture of Stonehenge on the sign. Stonehenge is located in the English county of Wiltshire where it does snow.

Emma is American, so her sister would be also. Plus, I imagine that she would be dead by now.

That's what I thought too. That's another reason why I think it's Hag of the Mists.

I don't think the picture shows Stonehenge. Stonehenge has a circle of many standing stones, the picture shows only one. Smaller ancient stones are found all over the UK so I don't think that the picture points us to Stonehenge. My money is still on either Ireland, or Western Scotland, the Celtic cross on the sign points towards somewhere with Celtic links.
