Lots More Puzzle For Your Dollar

This game’s predecessor didn’t impress me much, but I am wow’d by this one. It has everything, including more great jigsaws than you can poke a stick at.

The jigsaw photos come in an apparently random set of 4 boxes, each with 88 photos in each, a total of over 700 pix.

They are all clearly professionally taken shots, and while many of them do have a regal theme – crowns, palaces, for example – it’s much more like they have been chosen for their beauty and glamour. There are many pictures of flowers, jewellery, landscapes and monuments. Everything from the Great Wall of China to a butterfly.

All puzzles can be customised in the following ways:

• Number of pieces (from about 12 up to about 300)
• Degree of irregularity of the cuts
• Pieces can be rotated, or not
• Picture in the top left corner, or not
• Ghost, or not
• Sorted, or not
• Borders separated, or not
• Background colour, choice of 4

You can get scores based on speed and trophies.

The music is pleasant and unobtrusive. The interface harmless, but boring, and I am not sure I like having no instructions regarding the customization, you just have to figure it out for yourself.

You are not given an option to stick the pieces to the desktop, which is my one criticism.

Otherwise, this game represents *years* of fun to me.

I recommend this game!

I also wanted to add that this thread has been reserved for reviews only.

If you have any questions about someone else's review (even if you feel that their review contains incorrect details about this game), please contact that user directly via PM instead of replying to or quoting their post, as this can develop into a discussion that is not suitable for the review thread.

We want to ensure that everyone who visits this thread can easily find the reviews that they're looking for, so the Moderation Team will be removing any off-topic posts (i.e. non-reviews).

(For any non-review related posts, please feel free to create a "Comments" thread in this Game Forum if there isn't one already. You can always create a new thread for any game questions or tips.)

Thank you!

If there's a save function I can't seem to find it and that's a big deal breaker for me. When I did the hour trial and was nearly done with a puzzle I was annoyed to find out that after I made the purchase the puzzle I was working on was gone. I bought the game anyways thinking that maybe it was just a glitch or that it doesn't save the free trial. Just in case I made sure not to close my laptop when in the middle of a big puzzle that I had been working on for many hours. The power went out and I am fuming right now. Nearly 6 hours and almost done when the pc crashed and again I lost my puzzle. I have checked out all of the buttons and I just don't see a save function anywhere. What kind of a game doesn't have a save function? I may be asking for a refund.

Own all of them, BUT this one is the BEST by far, LOT'S of puzzles to keep you entertained, for months.
Glad to see these developers, giving us customers that do LOVE jigsaws, a great deal , can't beat this one for the money, kind of makes up for the few puzzles, that were in the other one's I purchased, even though they were still good puzzles, ( cool pics ) there weren't enough of them, so THANK YOU DEVELOPERS !!
If your into jigsaws, this is a no brainier, and a must buy, have spent many hours, enjoying these, AND still have lots that I have not yet tried..YAY .

Cassiesmom1, so sorry your having saving issues ...mine saves, when I click on the exit door, bottom right, if I haven't finished my puzzles, it asks, do you want to save, and I click yes, and it has saved every time.
Don't understand why your's wouldn't, so maybe BF customer support can help, they are very good, I've had nothing but positive experiences, with them, when having any kind of an issue.
The game shouldn't work for one person, but not another, unless your not clicking on the exit door, bottom right, of toolbar, first, that is the only thing, I can think of, once you click on that, it will ask, if you want to save, GOOD LUCK

I was disappointed in this game. I have used Jigs@w 2 for several years, and what I like about it is you can add your own pictures, downloads, etc. from your computer. I prefer to do my own choosing of puzzles because I'm not a fan of landscapes. Put an "add your own picture" to the game and I would buy it in a heartbeat.
